Filippo Fano

[su_tabs][su_tab title=”About”]Filippo is a musician, pursuing a PhD at the Interaction Design Centre. He has a Diploma Degree in Piano at the Conservatory of Perugia, Italy (http://www.conservatorio.pg.it/) where he also studied composition and electronic music. He has professional experiences both in classical and in jazz music, playing for piano solo or in combo (duets, trios, … jazz orchestra). He achieved the Laurea Degree at the University of Siena, Communication Science Department, discussing a thesis on sounding objects supporting the exploration of museum contents. His interests in the interaction design field are particularly related to educational technologies and the design of educational experiences supported by hybrid artefacts. His PhD project is an attempt to merge the two perspectives of musical performances and the design of educational technologies. Filippo is currently working in Kaleidoscope (EU Network of excellence, Contract No.507838) aiming at exploring concepts and methods of learning supported by digital technologies.
