Anne Sheehan

[su_tabs][su_tab title=”About”]Anne works on the socGSD project (Social, Organisational and Cultural Aspects of Globally Distributed Software Engineering). Her current research focus is primarily on knowledge and learning within distributed software development, in particular mentoring and the evolution of expertise within the context of software development. Anne has spent a number of years working for various software development and consulting companies, in Europe and South Africa. She was awarded both BSc and MSc degrees from the University of Limerick. The topic of her MSc was “Software Process Improvement – theory and practice”. Anne also participated in the ESPRIT project called ATMOSPHERE (Advanced Tools and Methods in Heterogeneous Extensible Real Environments) and contributed to the Computer Based Systems Engineering and Method Integration workgroups.
